Panzer Museum

Today was a travel day from Amsterdam to Berlin, with a long stop at the Panzer Museum in (the other) Munster. Tanks, tanks and more tanks, plus a healthy dose of motorcycles, trucks, artillery and other pieces from WWI-era to the modern day. It's quite an impressive place. It was funny to note that the German tanks always seemed to be aimed at a Russian, British or US tank, while the allies were pointing off in some other direction.

My favorite vehicle in the place, the Schwimmenwagon!

Rommel's death mask:

Outside we could get inside a tank (no shells provided)

Mostly flat open or wooded land. I was amazed by the number of windmills in Germany. Also the speed of the cars - we weren't going slow and cars were whizzing past us.

As for food today, breakfast was a typical European hotel buffet, lunch a sandwich from a convenience store on the road:

Got to Berlin late. Will start a new entry.
